March 2016 marked one year since President Barack Obama announced TechHire, a campaign to connect Americans with well-paying technology jobs while simultaneously meeting the demand of hundreds of U.S. employers.
Coding Dojo not only supports the TechHire initiative, but embodies its primary objective. Transforming lives through programming literacy has been our mission since our inception in 2011 - and we've since created the industry's most robust online learning platform that can serve as the lynchpin to carrying out TechHire mission anywhere in the United States.LET's GET CONNECTED
The tech industry has a diversity problem, but we’re committed to fixing it. We believe diversity breeds innovation, encourages different ways of thinking, and contributes to the greater good.
Our scholarships and partnerships make an impact. In 2015 alone, learn-to-code scholarships were given to victims of human trafficking and to North Korean refugees as well as other individuals facing barriers to high-paying tech jobs.
Our groundbreaking online learning platform trains the teachers. It allows educators to introduce or expand coding in classrooms all over the country, from elementary to higher ed.
