We attended Uncubed in San Francisco! Uncubed is a “high energy and creative gathering of thoughtful leaders, high-caliber talent, and the top startups in the country”. It’s essentially a huge and casual talent fair for startups.
Our ninjas had the opportunity to hear awesome tech talks and network with companies like Evernote, Clinkle, Tumblr, Birchbox, Twitter, Wakefield, and many more. Many of our students are about to graduate the Coding Dojo bootcamp and this was just a great opportunity for them to get themselves out there and show recruiters their worth and passion for coding. Uncubed was the perfect hiring event for our students to attend because it not only allowed them to sell themselves and their skills but it also allowed potential employers to show off their culture and environment in a casual and fun setting.
Uncubed is not a normal event. It’s an event for the motivated, the intelligent, and the full-on tech rockstars. The event included informative and productive tech talks, skills and development sessions, great snacks, yummy beverages, and a fantastic networking/hiring event in a designated area of the building. Oh, and let’s not forget the opportunity to spin a Dropbox wheel for free file storage space. Who doesn’t love free file storage space?!
Needless to say, we had a blast at Uncubed in San Francisco!
