Open House Attendance Grant

The purpose of the Open House Grant is to encourage students to attend Open House. At Open House, students have the opportunity to explore the curriculum and learn more about Coding Dojo.

  • Coding Dojo students who attend Open House will receive a one-time $100 grant posted to their account.
  • Attendance at the Open House will be confirmed by Coding Dojo before the grant is posted.
  • This grant may be combined with the Coding Dojo Advantage Grant.

Coding Dojo Advantage Grant

The purpose of the Coding Dojo Advantage Grant is to recognize students who face personal and/or financial hardships in pursuit of a certificate at Coding Dojo. This grant is typically awarded up to $750. This grant can only be applied to one program. In addition to the Coding Dojo General Grant and Scholarship Conditions, students must also meet the following criteria:

  • Candidates must submit a minimum 500-word essay on how they intend to use the skills learned at Coding Dojo to benefit others and society.
  • Grant essay approvals and denials will be determined by the grant committee.
  • The grant recipient must be a student currently attending or enrolled for a future start at Coding Dojo.

Institutional grants or scholarships are based on established criteria as published in the Institutional Catalog or on its website and are awarded after verification that the conditions of eligibility have been met.
