Let’s dig into the report and find out which 10 companies are hiring the most data science employees in 2022.

What companies are hiring data scientists?

1. Accenture

63,206 data employees

Shooting up the list this year is Accenture, an Irish-based company with offices across the world. It makes sense that the company staffing the most data scientists is an information technology (IT) company.

One of the biggest reasons for this change is Accenture’s growth over the last few years. Since the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, Accenture has acquired 11 different companies in various countries across the globe, including cybersecurity companies, cloud computing companies, and other IT firms.

As Accenture further commits to the cloud and continues its focus on IT we can expect to see demand for data scientists continue to grow.

Next up is another IT company, this time it’s India-based Tata Consultancy Services. While founded in India, the company has locations on every continent, including several in United States.
