It’s Official! Coding Dojo Expands to East Bay

Located at 6001 Shellmound St Suite 200 Emeryville, CA, Coding Dojo’s East Bay campus can accommodate double the amount of students of its other seven campuses, and is ready to start training aspiring web developers across the Bay Area.

Coding Dojo is the only school in the world to teach three full stacks of software development in 14 weeks: an ability only acquired through years of refinement, and only enabled by a staff of seasoned web developers with decades of programming experience.

East Bay is already comparable to Silicon Valley. In 2017-18 PitchBook report, UC Berkeley produced 1,089 entrepreneurs and 961 companies, coming in second to Stanford University.  The average salary of Software Engineers in East Bay is $124,555 per year according to, 19% above the nation’s average.

As reported by an analytics software company that focuses on labor market data, Burning Glass Technologies; coding is one of the fastest-growing and highest-paying skills in various tech-related fields. The demand for coding skills also increases even for non-tech job positions. In fact, in the year 2014 to 2016, coding and programming jobs increased 50% faster in the job market, and jobs were requiring coding skills pay $22,000 per year more than jobs that don’t.
